  • For re-building and hardfacing of steel mill rolls made of all kinds of carbon steel, alloy steel, and cast iron ,such as rolls for the following: structural steel, rails, square bars, round bars, wire rods
  • Must pre-heat to 370-430ºC and control interpass temperature for successful welding
  • After welding, allow slow cooling of not more than 40ºC per hour
  • If the rolls are made of ductile or gray cast iron, use BUFFERWELD NO. 3 electrodes for buffering before overlaying with THERMAROLL-M
