Description
  • AZUCAL 80 (The "Sugar" Electrode) is a chromium carbide type of hardfacing electrode specially formulated for repair and maintenance operatins in the Sugar industry
  • Deposits a dispersion of small, hard, and highly wear resistant globules for roughening the metal surfaces of the Sugar Rolls that come in contact with the sugar cane when it is being crushed, thereby increasing the crushing efficiency
  • Increases life span of crushing rollers nd eliminates costly and time-consuming problems encountered in replacing crushing rollers
  • Excellent welder appeal due to thin slag, easy maneuvering, and superb wetting properties
  • Can be welded directly onto a sugar impregnated or wet surface when the roller is running, stationary, or during the milling operation
