II. DESCRIPTION:

Most versatile bronze electrode with corrosion and sea water resistant deposit, and has a low coefficient of friction ideally suited for overlay work. It has high toughness, high tensile strength, crack resistance and affinity for most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, N-34N is often beat choice when dissimilar metals.

     III. NOTES ON USAGE:

  • Keep the welding current as low as possible in the case of first-layer welding.

  • Preheat is not necessary in the case of lining of mild steels. The preheating temperatures varies in accordance with quality of base metal, a preheating temperature of 150 - 250ºC is required in general.

  • Preheat at 250ºC-300ºC is necessary in the case of welding brass.

  • The interlayer temperatures varies in accordance with the preheat temperatures.

  • Keep the arc length as short as possible and don’t use too much weaving.
