I. APPLICATIONS:

Hard surfacing of various wheels, shafts and gears.

II. DESCRIPTION:

NHF-300B is a titania type electrode which has stable hardness and good usability. Its weld metal shows sorbite structure and has good toughness. It is suitable for intermetallic abrasion and moderate impact abrasion. Machining and quenching is also possible in general.

III. NOTES ON USAGE:

  • Preheating is unnecessary in general. In the case of hard surfacing on large size weldments, low alloy steel and high carbon steel, preheat at 150ºC and over.

  • The groove repairing is prone to slag inclusion, so adjust the holding angle of the electrode.

  • Dry the electrodes at 80~120ºC for 30~60 minutes before use.
